May 2, 2012 – SFU Bobsleigh & Skeleton Sport Club AGM Presentation
Marketing pitch to recruit new members for the new Bobsleigh & Skeleton sport club at Simon Fraser University. Brought bobsled to SFU campus from Whistler Sliding Centre (on a uhaul). Tink Newman was the President in the first year and handed it off to Dylan Belvedere for subsequent years.

This project focused on the issues surrounding living in small spaces and how to create software to help.

May 2, 2012 – Interactive Arts & Technology, Spatial Design (IAT 233)
Seattle Design Charette
A weekend competition of a large class, split up into many groups of 4, selected a site in Seattle and design the concept of a building for the area. Minimal sleep that weekend. We worked in groups in hotel rooms. Tink Newman did all architectural sketches on her Axiotron Modbook computer.

February 19, 2012 – Interactive Arts & Technology: Interaction Design (IAT 222)
Drum Morphium is based on a concept of a malleable digital drum that can change sound and shape for the music enthusiast who wants all types of drum sounds at their disposal. Tink Newman did much of the writing, provided the idea, creative direction, shared in project management and did the technical connectivity diagrams.

This is a concept for an Olympic Skeleton simulator to help skeleton athletes train during the summer months.
